Why Two fingers Together?
For generations, two fingers raised apart have been recognized by many as a sign of "peace or victory"
DROD offers a different gesture. Two fingers together. Not in opposition to another symbol, but as a reminder of something humanity must continually practice. Coming together. Especially in a time of such division This gesture is not merely about acknowledging our differences. It's about what we choose to do despite those differences. Different beliefs. Different backgrounds. One shared responsibility. A Conscious intentional symbol. "PEACE BEGANS WHEN WE COME TOGETHER." That is the gesture. That is DROD.

DROD exists to encourage people across cultures, beliefs, and backgrounds to recognize our shared humanity — and to practice unity through how we greet meet and treat one another.

Darryl Spencer created DROD after witnessing how quickly people divide — and how rarely they choose to bridge that divide. He believed a single, universal gesture could become a daily practice of peace.
DROD is not a religion, a political movement, or a brand. It is a human practice — accessible to anyone, anywhere, regardless of creed, culture, or background.
